SOUTHBOUND 75 - KICK ASS COUNTRY ROCK - Indiestrong.com

If you like well written modern country take a ride with Southbound 75.  The new single, "Spilled Champagne" is an instant hit.  If you like Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean you are going to instantly fall in love with this song.  The production on this tune is grade A Nashville superb.  We also took a listen to "Not Ready To Say I'm Sorry Yet" and it literally checks every box of a hit.  With amazing songwriting and stellar production these songs can easily stand up with any current hits on country radio.

We took some time to listen to more songs from Southbound 75 on Spotify tonight.   Honestly, every song in their catalog so far has been great.  These guys have fantastic songs and the absolute perfect production on their recordings.  I can easily see these guys sharing the stage with any current charting country artist of 2022.

Please take some time to listen and share with your friends.   If you would like to see the tradition of great modern country songwriting continue...... this is your chance.   Turn it up and take a ride with Southbound 75.

A little more about Southbound 75

In a rare meeting backstage at Cincinnati’s Music Hall, music legend Prince asked Southbound 75 singer-songwriter, Mark Lorenzo, “Do you believe the cream will rise to the top?...” After responding that he did, Prince continued, “...Then you have nothing to worry about.”

Southbound 75’s story started when Radio Promotion legend, Bill Scull heard writer Mark Lorenzo’s song, “Little Breakdown” at an ASCAP demo review session. Scull, who has worked in theindustry for years including with Clive Davis, singled him out, signed Mark to his label, and sent him out to record his label’s first CD.

“The thing I learned from Clive Davis is that the song is king…and Mark Lorenzo has those songs,” Scull said.
Lorenzo’s talent also caught the attention of publisher Jan Seedman (who discovered Nickelback for RoadRunner Records and had a hand in finding other acts like Stone Temple Pilots and Filter), “Mark knows how to come up with a melody... the songs just don’t get tired - ever.”
